Stick some 888 if you want a great track tyre but not that great on the road for everyday.

Federal do a good track tyre which is well priced. But again more road legal trackday focused tyre.

If you're going to just have the odd day, get best road tyres you can afford and get a tyre pressure gauge. Put your pleasure to about 26/28 hit a few laps and check how you're doing. When hot you want about 32 ish. This will combat uneven tyre ware. Drive as smoothly as you can. If you're hanging on to the steering wheel into and out if corners, look at your line.

Alternatively get a second set of wheels and stick some secondhand track tyres on em. Even secondhand good track tyres will give better grip at temp than ditch finder (cheap ass road tyres)

Sorry I don't know you or know how much you know about track time. No offense!

Tedswagon gave you a great piece of advise.

By the way, where did you do all that work and how did the car turnout?

Having used r888's for the last 6 years, I wouldn't use them again.

Get a set of AD08R's, fantastic tyres. I even use them for daily action

I did most of the work my self apart from the cam, I live in the same village as btb so got a great deal , the car now flys ,so strong over 4000 rev sound like a race car such a different for not much money .Going to get it on the rolling road to see what it has hopefully 200 bhp, would recommend Kent cam kit .
