Refitting headliner help need picture!

Hi I'm trying to refit the headliner and have a question. Is there some sort of panel that goes on to the roof before the headliner or is the cloth headliner suppose to go straight on to the mental roof? Thanks any got pictures??

Behind the sunroof there's a foam-y panel thing that sticks to the roof and is supported with glue and rods for the headliner.
(That's on my 2 door anyway)

No, you should have a sponge glued to the metal part of the roof where the 2 supporting bars go

BMW may still stock them, failing that, I wouldn't hold out much hope, as removing them carefully is nigh on impossible as they are glued.

Yeah I just try them they only have the front section no rear. It didn't have any headliner in when I got the car so I have no idea what it is suppose to look like
