Just got some updates from the Silverstone Auctions.
A Mercedes 190 Evo 2 went for £299k, and a red Cecotto m3 with 125k miles went for about £44k!
To put things into perspective a stunning Porsche 964 turbo with 60k went for around £60k and a Countach went for £218k.
An old 190 Merc or a v12 classic?

Mental. I was in Marseielle yesterday and saw a mint Ren 21 Turbo. What's that worth? Not much but what a cracking old thing. The Mrs got a pic of it.

Sorry, the only 21 I'd consider would be a Savanna.

They really aren't worth much which is a shame as they always had high praise in their day. Just as capable as a Sapphire Cosworth but about 10% cheaper when new, now the ford commands around 500% more than the Renault. The Alpine GTA is another epic car that people really don't care for.

I've always said the French have made some cracking cars, about time they were recognized.

Was the 190 the one from the Bonkers collection?

There's a strong chance it was. Changed hands for about 100k around 5 years back if I remember.
