About to buy new wheels - size help please

Hey guys, just about to order some new wheels - 16" Dare RS with a 215/40 rear tyre and 9j wheel width (8j on front and 195/45 tyre). The guy reckons 9j should be fine on rear without spacers but want to make sure.
Anyone had any experiences?

I'm running a 9" rear wheel with an offset of 20 and a 225 tyre.
Fits like a glove

I'm running 9j with 215 45 16 et20 but arches needed rolling
