Tiger seal

Hi all,has anyone used Tigerseal to fit a boot spoiler and if so is it any good,Thank you and Merry Christmas to everyone,Ian.

I certainly used it to stick the side rubbing strip moulding on a 1984 Scirocco Storm once...believe me it certainly wasn't for coming off again thats for sure! The spoilers heavier than that granted, however id think it would be more than up to it. Hopefully someone will come along thats actually done it.

One of this little rubber lip spoilers - probably not an issue. Wouldn't rely on it for anything more significant.
Saw a fibreglass roof skin come off a mini down the pit straight at Oulton Park once. That had been Tiger Seal'd on...

Tigerseal is plenty strong enough to hold a spoiler in place, put you probably aren't intending to bond it to the boot lid, but to the paint on the lid, and the bond between the paint and the metal isn't likely to be strong enough.
What's wrong with fixing it as BMW intended?

brian your not wrong there.but it sounds like the bolts departed long ago and glues now the only alternative or nails ,yer nails will bosh it.or how about them drift stiches im hearing about....
