Touring rear doors/hinges/fitment/advice...

Ok, so yesterday, whilst trying to take some items out of the back of my touring, a lovely old lady managed to hit my open rear door with the front of her astra, (luckily, just brushing me with her wing mirror - no injury thank god!!!).
I've never had a 'good' experience/outcome from an insurance company, so I'm not keen on going down that road - especially as they will prob just write the car off!!!
The old girl says she is happy to sort this privately, so I will see what it costs and if she can/will pay!!!

Apart from me ideally wanting to find a Diamond black, drivers side, rear door, for my touring...

I don't really know anything about the fitting!!!
The car is in the local workshop I use for everything, (know the guys well), so they are stripping it today and checking nothing is too bent.
The door is obviously scrap, the hinges are bent.
Assuming the pillar isn't bent, (it looked ok in the dark last night!), I'm wondering how the hinges are fixed in place???
Do they bolt to the shell? Welded in place? Easily replaceable or a PITA?
Any other issues that might crop up along the way?

The front door did have a very slight drop before, not enough for me to do anything about, but I'm considering dealing with that at the same time and billing her for it, as currently the drivers door won't shut fully either, though it does still appear to line up ok.

It's looking, so far, like I'm going to end up with a door the wrong colour, so I'm also considering sorting some other paintwork at the same time, as she will be contributing towards it!!!

Any info, ideas, advice, spare doors - all appreciated!!!

This is how it looked after I had bent the door back to try and shut it, (it was higher and originally sprung back to be at about 90 degrees to the body!!!).

If anyone can write a quick procedure for adjusting door panel gaps, it would be much appreciated - I have an annoyingly sticky rear door too!

Annoyingly, my rear door on the other side, is very sticky, doesn't have great paint and the central locking stopped working recently!!!

have stripped my rear door for painting, from memory, on the door, lower hinge is fixed, upper hinge is bolted and has shims and is adjustable, I just fitted my front door using a jack and foam to protect new paint, I nipped up the nuts just tight enough to support the door but could still adjust position with the jack, trial and error as I work alone, took me about an hour and fitted great, even gaps.
