Just wonderin...
At some point I want to replace my interior with a good condition recaro leather interior in black.
How much do you guys reckon such an interior would cost/go for? - just the front and rear seats mind as I already have black leather door cards. (for a 2dr)
Also would I have to change the front seat frames/railings as well when changing them or do they stay put?
Thanks in advance!
Nick

no you dont have to change rails etc nix.
it all depends on what condition etc and where you buy it from
etc....if you buy it on ebay u may get a good deal but the safer
bet to get good condition would obviously be on here for the
simple fact of it being an enthusiast website.
recaros are generally more expensive than normal seats though
and its hard to find a mint set nowadays
hope that helps mate

Cheers Eun!
Any idea of cost?
Are there many different types of leather interior? To my knowledge there's the recaro and then there's the Lux style which is more like normal leather seats as opposed to sports style.

it ranges normally from Ԛ£100 for shite to sometimes
Ԛ£450 if its minty mint obviously depending on what type
of seats they are....recaro, m3 etc.

as time goes by, they are coming more rare and they seem to go for some ridiculous prices also

Only interiors that are not interchangeable are touring rear seats.
All others are straight bolt in swops, even 4 door/2 door, only difference apart from the obvious tilting seats (even 4 door front seats tilt) is there's a slight cut off on the rear seat base in a 4 door to aid entry to the car.

The mechanism is there, just missing the tilt levers and the cables that activate it all.

How much do you guys reckon it would cost to have a set of front and rear seats retrimmed? i.e. if I found a shagged leather recaro, would it be worth restoring?
Cheers!
