Hardly think theres going to be much sniggering at a 370 horse cosworth E30??daimlerman wrote:Yes on both counts, but as I'm an OAP,I qualify!bigryrs wrote:And a stupid looking micra that an OAP would drive lolLondonTom wrote: Daimlerman, didn't you have a horrid green cabriolet?
I also run a 'proper' old man's car....
Please go ahead and fit rubbish aftermarket tat to your pride and joy,the rest of us sensible guys will just try to snigger quietly!
Not only that, these add at least 4" to the old pecker too (1" per door)ross_jsy wrote:Easy 40 bhp out of those bad boys. F00king motorsport!!
I have original handles fitted. i will see what they look like and if they look too "council" il remove them and fit the originals.pierce wrote:Im sorry, you really don't need these, Just because some muppet got a "sick laser cutter" for Christmas doesn't mean you have to give him your hard earned cash!
You would be better off spending the same money on a set of original handles.
Rav will take them if it comes to that!!bigryrs wrote:I have original handles fitted. i will see what they look like and if they look too "council" il remove them and fit the originals.pierce wrote:Im sorry, you really don't need these, Just because some muppet got a "sick laser cutter" for Christmas doesn't mean you have to give him your hard earned cash!

Its hardly an original example to start with so i cant see the harm in fitting them and seeing what it looks like! Might have found a set so i will post up a pic when fitted and you guys can help me decide! Think i know the answer already given the comments ive had already lol.87mtech27 wrote:Not a fan of the pointless council handles however it's OP's car and he should do as he pleases with he's property and his hard earned cash.
Very true sir87mtech27 wrote:It's YOUR car and IMO YOU should do as YOU like and see fit. It's hardly a major change and can easily be reversed of need be.

I cant really see what your getting at but i can assure you theres nothing council about a YB setup in any car!pacerpete wrote:bigryrs wrote:I have original handles fitted. i will see what they look like and if they look too "council" il remove them and fit the originals.pierce wrote:Im sorry, you really don't need these, Just because some muppet got a "sick laser cutter" for Christmas doesn't mean you have to give him your hard earned cash!

You could always fit them in the engine bay, they then won't look out of place
Completely agree - you've got one of the best engine setups on here.bigryrs wrote:I cant really see what your getting at but i can assure you theres nothing council about a YB setup in any car!pacerpete wrote:bigryrs wrote: I have original handles fitted. i will see what they look like and if they look too "council" il remove them and fit the originals.
