....it would be good to get a number of e30's on the same days. This might prompt people to sign up.
I'll start.

Surely we could organise an e30zone track day.
Would be a good opportunity to raise some money for the website - I did a track day at Combe last year which was privately organised, on a Saturday and only £150.
Tom
Ps - shotgun not organising it though

Happy to get involved but don't want to do all the work. Problem I had though last time I tried to do this is the track owners wanted me to front the money and I'm not doing that

Bedford would get my vote if something could be organised.

Trying to get zoners to turn up to a meet that they put their name down for is hard enough, let alone one that requires £150 at some point!
A while back (3 years ago +) around 5 or 6 of us went to an airfield day together. Much like this thread it was sorted all individually with the track organiser, we just all went on the same date. I think it is for the best otherwise someone will end up out of pocket and it won't be for a small amount I can assure you
Having said all that, I am interested as to how many went on that private day at Coombe Tom?

I would have thought there was at least 30 cars - it was organised mainly through turbosport.
The chap has organised a few before too.
Raw Motorsport and ergen ran two track days last year at Combe too.

That's how Frank sorts out his Blyton days. £100 per car, additional drivers/passengers free, excess goes to charity.

Sounds good but our excess could go towards the website?

Why not just get in on one of the car club days? They are the best track days around by far

We are looking at a Brands Hatch evening later in the year Barry to get Andy's 911 some track time, I'll let you know when we come up with a date.
Saturday was great at Bedford, never been before and it was quite a fun track to learn. Had some tuition early on and it really helped, we were taking seconds out of people on the chicane on the back straight!
Next mods are going to be refitting the back seats and putting 2 baby seats in the back, along with a baby on board sticker in the back window. There were a lot of comments along the lines of - how can your 23 year old estate car be quicker than my £40k sports car

Just an m52b28. I can't drive for toffee but the car seems to handle well and the instructor showed me the correct lines!
