As i put the other day......

I wanted a cheap, fairly quick, RWD car for a bit of fun on the rally stages (you have to drive along them before the competition cars to get to where you're marshalling).
I bought it for Ԛ£320, so it's a bit tatty but i'm in the process of tidying it up.
I have been thinking of some sort of decals/livery to make it look a bit more rally-esque.
I then got thinking about using it as a kind of 'rolling advert' for the Zone at the same time.
Basically i'm fishing for ideas and input for what designs people would like to see on a Zone 'sponsored' car, in keeping with Rally style livery?? (and i don't have photoshop!!)
(If i do follow this through i will pay for it myself, i'm not looking for any money from the Zone).
Any lunchtime doodlers, photoshop artists out there who fancy giving me a few ideas?????
Right, i've got permission from eko to use one of his pics cos i'm having great difficulty sorting my own out!!!

First bit of advice is to dump Photoshop, this app is for pro grapchic designers, its a powerful program but you need to know how to use it! Get Jasc Paint Shop Pro. It's just as powerful but easier to use. Here's something i knocked up for my ebay listing:

That looks damn cool!!! I like it!!!
But i was thinking more along the lines of 'E30 Zone' down the sides to help advertise the site. Like i said in the first post, a Zone 'Sponsored' car.
On the whole that's the kind of layout i was thinking of (but obviously mines not an M3!!).
I have a set of blue sparco mudflaps to go on, and a few corbeau seats stickers to start things off.
I'm looking at getting an OMP Steering wheel and maybe a strut brace too, so i'll try and blag some stickers at the same time......
I might see if i can get some Khumo tyres stickers too, cos they sponsor the British Rally Championship.......

I might do that for the bigger ones. They have a big computer controlled vinyl cutting machine at work in the paint &trim section. I was gonna see if i could get some of the smaller ones done there.
I may be in touch in future though!!!

Isn't this just a different car 'shopped onto the background and then the hartge wheels put on, if so you are a clever man. Took a while for me to spot with all the graphics decieving the eye.

Are custom decals expensive?

I'm liking that too!! What about having the 30 in a white box like the race numbers are??
(only prob there would be the other side i suppose. It wouldn't be in the right place on the car then.....)
