Something different... Feedback welcome!

So not so long ago my daily had let me down in bizarre fashion when it had a gearbox malfunction...
This box had become a garden feature loitering in my garden as I couldn't bring myself to get rid of it.
What to do with it?
Well I came up with this...
The glass can rotate around and as it does the cogs turn too. The glass is brand new and the wooden base custom cut out to the shape of the bell housing and lacquered. The base is bolted on through the bell housing and finished with chrome topper nuts.
This particular one is potentially sold. But I will gladly make more upon request! (Subject to costs)
Feedback welcome and if there is any requests get in touch with me!

What a brilliant idea & looks to be very well executed.
How have you protected the rotating cogs, from say, little fingers.
What sort of money are you looking at?
Well done, very innovative idea.

Yea well too late now Ferg haha
Thanks. I've cut a Perspex window to slot into the 'window'
To be honest, it's hard to determine a price. Depends how much the 'box sells for... And the glass is upwards of £70 for me to buy. I think minimum price complete will be £200. It takes time to create haha.
Here's a link of the Perspex...

Don't under sell it, remember, it's not just the price of the parts, but the the price of the skill making it.
I routinely make things with a material value of about £20, but with an actual retail value of £600.

Haha. If someone were to supply me a box for example, I'd only need to source glass, Perspex, wood, chrome toppers. Dependant on the quality of finish someone desires. A hole cut in the side takes ages.
So a basic paint gearbox (supplied by customer), basic base and glass can easily be constructed for the £200 mark.
But if somebody wants a gearbox table like the one photo'd here took me a long time so I'd say that particular model should be £400 to do.
This one I'm modelling is currently sold subject to her in doors at his house. If she doesn't warm to it I will be listing it in the for sale section

Are you on commission? Stop trying to drive the price up......I was just about to order one at £200 & now look what you've done!!!
