what is better overall i have both cars but not sure which one to restore as only have funds for one

Convertible probably can hear the exhaust and the engine better! Great for summer days and posing! Also good when the sun is out in the winter I imagine

I like the saloons better although I do like Convertibles too, just not for posing in

Convertibles have passed there shelf life as a show off car if showing off is the purpose of buying one in this day and age IMO... If one wants a car to pose in to the masses then either an E46 M3 convertible or E93 are the vehicles to go for.

Here's a sneak peak of my cabrio. 24V, staggered Alpinas and a few more bits. Once its finished, i'll put some better pics up. I blew out 3 discs and had emergency back surgery on march 25th. Haven't touched it since.

I've had a saloon and decided to go for the cab for a change - they always looked cool in their day and still do now.

Coupe for the winter, Cab for the summer.
Simples.

Gert, Diable, Rav, Pony and a Colonist. The vert is a failed cause by association!

*The Colonist is forgiven, they have the weather.
