Are BMW in on the joke?
I've been trying to get a new diff to be told that they have now discontinued
the exchange differential units.

Wouldn't laugh so hard!

At least 30% or so of e30 is NLA allready and outside wearparts like timing belts & waterpump and stuff like that the rest will soon follow.

i read it earlier as well and thought wtf! Then released its bshit after I read on......

A parts manager from a BMW dealership who wished to remain anonymous commented;

”aI’m relieved this new policy is being introduced. Over the last few years my job had become extremely tough. These E30 and classic boys just stroll into the dealership expecting me to pull a replacement carpet from the shelf that was made over 25 years ago, you’d swear I was Houdini! I have had to take time of work due to the stress of dealing with their ”˜Christmas lists’ of replacement parts which led to the breakdown of my marriage and my wife running off with an Audi parts manager.”a

Have to hold my hands up to this one. I wrote the offending Aprils Fool article this morning whilst I was waiting for my local BMW dealership to put together a price list of parts for me 8)

Thought it may drive some new interest to BMWbuilds and then it almost broke the server :twisted:
