Never heard of them, but in the particularly tight confines of the RHD E30's engine bay you're going to have a tough job getting that fitted.

e36/z3/e46 rack and be done with it

good few people are using them on drift cars,
it makes the steering quite heavy but nice and responsive.
i wouldnt be using it on a road car though as you have to cut a section of the steering column out.

Not necessarily a problem that. How heavy do they make it for a non-pas setup?
Was thinking of making something as its only a 1:2 ratio gear set and a bracket, plus maybe a couple of bearings. Was thinking of doing it so I could loose the rubber section in the middle of the column. Also would potentially work out cheaper than a e36/46/z3 rack and associated mods and mean I dont have to do further mods
