Some of you may know that USA cars have small tags with the VIN/Chassis number on various parts of the car.
When the cars get painted they come off and they age with time.
We've been asked to make some (obviously there's the requirement to see some sort of proof of ownership before i do this this)
Very fiddly to do as there is not a specific font for them !
Here's a set that we've just sent out to the USA

a pair of John Clark Aberdeen number plates. Note the Alpina roundel in place of the BMW one.
The owner of the car has also ordered a tax disc shield for the front and dealer window sticker for the back
the OEM ones are on the right but as its going onto John Clark supplied Alpina he's asked for a John Clark version incorporation the Sytners Alpina versions as well

What would be a nice addition to the website , is a guide with pics and measurements maybe on placement of the stickers
They are a great finishing touch to a car
Anyone got pics of exact where the service stickers go ? Door shut and the boot one ?

Are these the ones with the bar code that are normally behind the rear number plates on later stuff

We are working on that and it will be on the new web site with an updated cart.
The problem is that there is not set location for the decals, they vary from year to year as they were all placed by hand on the production line
For example the high voltage warning can be on the turret or further down on the wheel arch
We do have lots of library photos to use as reference points. If someone wants to forward us photos that they own and giving us permission to use them on the web site then that would be great.

Similar
Some of the USA Spec cars had larger ones in the engine bay with bar codes as well
I'll post up an example later that we have just completed

I see , ive got the full set I think everything as when new, just doing some finishing to the bay over the next 10 days and then il put the last of the bsy stickers in and il take pics of the lot and send them to you and if you want you can use them to show how a whole set of your stickers, plates, screen stickers, ax holder etc all look on a restored car , they do look great and always attract comments when people look at the car

right, has a a request for a Z1 tyre pressure label.
No photo of an original was submitted so i had to ask a contact for one. even he struggled an he owns a Z1, reason b ing the Z1's tyre pressure label in on the petrol flap, the hinge always breaks and they never replaced the label !
but i got one in the end
here's what i had to work with
used is as template
we had to draw the Z1 from scratch
and the finished article
result, one very happy customer in Canada

No, because you would just ignore it, start a 6 page thread on it and stick it in the wrong place anyway

lots of our work is being uploaded to FB, there are several galleries on there
be here's some other recent things that we have done
the int on this one wasn't quite the standard font, we played around with it a touch to get it tight.
period correct BSAU markings
mid to late 90's Park Lane for an e36 M3
and some other items
Porsche, there were hard work. Had very little to go on but we got there in the end
Lotus Sunbeam
The original one below and ours is on top

The actual export disc can be done but its a question of how accurate and detailed you want it. it would be priced as an hourly job and dare i say it thats got a fair few hours in it
is that the only photo you have ?
