Conversion Specialist

Hi all,
I know the topic has been covered several times before, but i did a search and couldn't see any threads regarding companies that offer it.
A friend has offered me a m52b28 for £100 (from an e36 so id still have to buy associated conversion components). Has anyone used a reasonably priced garage/specialist for a conversion? There is someone on eBay offering it for circa £1800 but in my eyes that seems extortionate.
Any help appreciated

Basic conversion is about 40 hours work,so multiply that by your chosen garage's hourly rate.
Really, though, given the wealth of knowledge within the zone, any keen diyer/practical car enthusiast type can carry out an M50/52 conversion,I managed it!

Then rent a lock up for a month or two and buy a s/h crane from ebay!

I see there are no engine bay pictures of an E30 in the advert, just the plug and play E36 stuff.

Yeah that's the one Dan. Perhaps I'm underestimating the amount of work but it seems like a lot?

As Malcolm stated above, 40 hours work, plus the parts?
If you want a proper job that lasts years rather than weeks you are looking at spending at least £1000 on parts alone
