Well i spun off in the wet coming out of Old Hall Corner halfway up The Avenue!
Hit a pool of water aqua planed came onto the kerb slid off in the grass managed to pull it back on track but was facing oncoming traffic!
Lost the power steering and heard a whining and my fan controller decided to short out and stay on maximum! So pulled into Dan and Andrews garage and realised i had ripped the drive belt in half! Managed to get a replacement belt delivered and on by 2:30pm "Thanks Dan I owe you big time"
Finally got out warmed her up and put some heat into the tyres and went track car hunting......
My first track outing for 8 years and got named second best driver of the day!
Dan can fill in the blanks.............

Really good day, If anyone is thinking about doing a track day, then the car club days would be my recommendation, not too many cars and really nice organisers.
I have to say thanks to NeolM3, Mikey_boy, Motorhole and Danthe. Sorry about no passenger laps Motorhole, next time you are first!!!! Also thanks to Mike for the first few guidance laps, really needed it on this cicuit with its blind off camber crests
I have one video with DanThe in the passenger seat, I mounted the camera too high and my mirror is in the way
Quote of the day

Take it from me, even just watching from the pit wall, the way Sam's car pulled down that straight was just epic. Equally epic was watching Andrew follow shortly behind again and again on the last session! Too completely opposing approaches to putting a crazy quick car together.
Don't worry Andrew, I appreciate time was short. Let's try and get on the same day sometime next year
Dan - if you pm me your address I'll post that video through on DVD. Angles not too bad for a quick lash up and the slide on the way out of druids is nice and clear

Motorhole I was so pleased with my motor the grip and the pace were really impressive!
Bear in mind my car is a full fat road car that was chasing down and passing some of the track only cars on the day with my 2.93 ratio diff! I was well chuffed! I'm on the hunt for a 4.10 diff now just to put in for track days...........

Thanks Motorhole, I spent a little time last night looking at the data. My fastest rolling lap was 2.07.763 and looking at the sector times, the software is showing my best theoretical lap on the day could be 2.00.770, quite pleased with that, especially with a passenger, damp sections and low sun.
Just working on the video overlays, hope to have some laps up soon

Im trying to be clever and keying the overlay, but my windowzzz renders keep failing with artefacts and general crashes. So Im just going to throw something up temporarily.
Why is windows so unreliable? The Key on the Mac is coming out perfect, but I cant seem to export the full session from the overlay software in windows.

It looks like I could do with equalising the roll stiffenss between front to rear. Slightly stiffer rear springs and maybe soften the front anti-roll bar.
