Mirror glass - where to buy?

Hi all,
I'm after some new heated mirror glass (preferably aspherical and blue). Any ideas where to buy some? One of mine I cracked removing for a respray, and the other induces massive blind spots.
I've had a look online and on eBay, but have had no joy. I thought I'd found some from Latvia, but they sent an email saying they didn't have them.
I also bought these, but they were rubbish. One side was blue, the other clear. The heated bit was just a sheet of paper with elements stuck on the back, and the clip was a self adhesive thing that didn't match the standard clip design at all, and wouldn't have worked.

Cheers,
Joe

You've got to go genuine unless you want to stick a new ECP mirror on top of them, the heat still finds it way through. I found a business on ebay selling genuine parts and picked up a DS mirror for £35. Better than the 50-60 BMW wanted.

Ouch. That's a lot for two small pieces of glass. Probs cheaper to just buy a rusty set of mirrors if that's what they want and no-where else stocks non-stick on ones.
I just hope I've not binned the broken glass so I've not ruled myself out of stick on ones.

You can get non BMW oem stick on ones, and remove the old glass from the black plastic backing, its just glued on, then glue the replacement glass to the backing and the jobs a goodun

Just for info, I've played this game - and very few places actually stock/supply the heated glass!!! Even when they specifically state they do!!!
ECP list it, yet further investigation proves they cannot supply heated glass!!!
That goes for all the companies they secretly run/supply!!!
And several ebay sellers!!! Some of which send heated glass, which doesn't actually fit in the E30 mirrors, even though they are convinced they do and tried to tell me I must have non-standard mirrors when I sent them pics to prove their error!!!
Other than main dealers, who didn't seem sure they could get me the right part.... second hand from someone on here is the way to go, if you want heated glass, imho!!!
Must pull my finger out and fit those before the winter!!!

I have ordered one from Wingmirrorman.co.uk as posted by scallyally above.
The description at:
https://www.wingmirrorman.co.uk/wing-mi ... ght-side-1
says:
"This door mirror glass comes complete with a Base Plate that is Heated and fits an Electric adjustable wing mirror "
I'll let you know what turns up.

Hey Ben,
I'm just about to try and order some of these, now the MOT is coming around.
What turned up in the end? Was it OK?
Cheers

No need to panic. You only need two mirrors in total, one of which must be an exterior mirror.

I currently only have 1 mirror!

I was aware of the two mirror rule (vans etc. only have exterior ones), but thanks for the heads up.
The car is SORN, and I smashed one glass (I assume cracked glass = fail), and the interior mirror is in pieces so I can rewire the map lights to activate with the doors being opened. The car will be MOT'd before I finish rebuilding it, as they're going to do some welding to bulkhead at the same time, and taking it to an MOT is the only way I can move it without a paying for a trailer. They've said it should pass without a dash/interior etc., so long as the lights/wipers/brakes/mirros etc. are all sound (which they should be, once I've got new glass). I can then refit the interior once the welding is done.
I've also found it seems to be a much better solution to buy mirrors off eBay for ~£12 a side and harvest the glass, and have a spare mirror should mine get damaged or whatnot.

It'll need the tell tale lights for main beam, rear foglight and ABS to be working, plus the illumination for the speedometer. Doesn't matter if the speedo works or not, as long as it lights up!

Thanks. Yes, they made it clear I'd need the dash cluster itself fitted - I assume cable ties to the steering column/bulkhead will be sufficient.
It does highlight some serious flaws in the MOT philosophy though if a speedo doesn't need to work, but must illuminate.
And the fact that I can't remove an airbag from a car with one fitted, but I can MOT one with two metal spikes sticking out of the bulk head at chest height, and have no problems at all...
