Have had uniroyals, t1rs, Falkens etc on the Fabia. However was getting fed up of only getting 12k out of a set of fronts so paid 15 quid or so per tyre more for Bridgestone Turanzas T001. So far very impressed. Excellent wet and dry grip, good feel, about 8% better on fuel than on t1rs. If I get 16k out of them, I'm squids in.

Limited choice in 205x55x15 nowadays I'm afraid.
I'd always used Vredestein Sportracs and been impressed but couldn't source 4 of the latest version (Sportrac 5) this time round. Continentals were £100 each in 205x55x15 guise when I last looked. The new Uniroyal Rainsport 3 looks decent but were out of stock when I was considering them.
I ended up going for Falken ZE914s as my local tyre place could supply and fit them for £61 per corner. They've been excellent so far. The main criticism of the ZE912 was its ability (or lack of) in the wet but the ZE914 has scored a lot better here when its been reviewed. I done 30 miles on Saturday in torrential rain with plenty of standing water and they coped fantastically. Quiet tyre too.

I had Falken before on E46 and as I was getting them fitted the tyre shop did tell me they were bollocks. They were rubbish. Few years later I had Goodyear Eagle F1s and was like night and day.

I'd second the Vredesteins - about £90 a corner if you can find them. I managed to get a set of sportrac 5s back in February but I went through about six tyre places before I found one who could source them - they had to order them in and apparently there were only 10 available across the whole country.
No data on the tyre review sites, but reviews for the 16" version suggest they're in a different league to Toyos and Kumhos - similar to the Uniroyals but a good bit better for wear.
I'm really happy with them, quiet, great in the wet and no more tramlining. But then I had a different kind of ditchfinder on every corner, all of em about 10 years old so, so anything was gonna be an improvement...

The 912s used to get a bit of a slating, especially in the wet. I'm liking the 914s so far but they've only been on the car for 1000 miles so its early days. They've managed to rein in the B20's epic 129bhp so far
I prefer the Vredesteins but at £240 for 4 I thought the Falkens would be worth a shot.

I had 25K out of my last set of Vredesteins. They do wear well. Back in my commuting days I got 40K out of a set of the Sportrac 2s on an E36 316i.

M43 Power!!!
Kumho's are decent for their price but a bit noisy as they wear IMO.

I remember one of the premium brands maybe Michelin made tyres for Lambo Countach when they were NLA. Was featured in Evo magazine as far as I remember
I am sure if we put in group order we can Michelin to make us some PSS for E30 325i Sports ????

quite abit of good advice, so looks like Uniroyal, according to the chart, the rainsport 3 are the ones to go for...
