It's the MCC lands end trial. Was great fun. Been doing it for a couple of years now. Had a couple of engine faults which made me miss the last 2 hills.

I often pass a silver touring built for trials. Looks odd sat up high, I had to double take when I first saw it lol
There's a few other trials cars I've seen around lately, a couple VW Beetles, an E36 Compact and a Vauxhall Astra

I've never been, but it does look like fun :D

i know the touring your on about, he runs a m10 turbo and full cage for strength. i got talking to him and he runs the touring as the shells are stronger. He managed to bend the rear from the rear wings down and the sills at the lower corner of the door.

i thought i had a good amount of clearance until i saw these 2 father and son, in E30 and Z3.
They play there cards close to there chest not giving any secrets away, but on looking underneath they both run similar set up, z3 front hubs and suspension, but the hubs have been mounted what looks like left on the right and right on the left and upside down, the callipers are in the correct position to the rear of the disc, and ball joints are mounted down wards to keep the steering arms level. on the rear they have lowered the rear subframe and use coilovers and a longer spring in the standard place.
To top it all of both run m44 supercharged at around 200bhp. and which the wheels They had to get them cut and narrowed on both front and back, and at a guess there carrying over 250kg of ballast weight over the rear wheels.
