325 Touring opinions?

I've been offered a J plate 325i Touring on a 91 plate with auto box.

Basically a good motor, some rust in tailgate which I believe is common.

Some minor bits of trim needed and big holes in door cards from speakers but otherwise good.

109k with good history for the princely sum of Ԛ£1500

Couple of questions

Does this sound like a good deal and what are the autos like. Not big on autos but could live with it if the rest of the car is worth having......

Opinions please

Cheers

Si

I paid Ԛ£500, yes, Ԛ£500 for a 90 G plate manual 325i touring. Mint interior, very good bodywork and perfect engine. There is very minor tailgate rust and that's it. Even had 365 days of MOT :D

Mine was off a mate, but I think you've got room for a bit of negotiation.

as the other said m8 thats not the cheapest - esp not for an auto as in e30's they tend to sell for less.

im currently selling a J plate 325i touring.
clean but not mint and mines up for Ԛ£900

if it were me id shop about a bit, normally a few for sale.

Thanks

Thanks for the comments

I'm gonna offer the guy Ԛ£1000 and see what happens.

Hopefully I'll be in the club within the week if you know what I'm saying.
