E30 Zone

hi guys, I have a alpine white e30 touring. my original tailgate was abit rusty on the right hand side and left hand side, not a lot but not worth my effort trying to restore it.

so I went out and got a mint red one, as I liked the idea of a black and white theme I sprayed it black, as well as blacked out lights and original bbs refurbed black.

I do kinda like the look but then I see some mint white touring out there and I think the blacked out lights and wheels might of looked nicer with a white tailgate?

whats your opinions guys?



if you don't like it just say so, you don't have to go into a ragging paragraph how much you hate it lol.

p.s I still have my white tail gate which is easily saveable if anyone is interested? £30 collection only in Southampton.

To most, It appears that your white tailgate fell off and you have fitted a black one and are waiting for a benefits / personal injury cheque before you can afford to paint it. Its not a good look as are most looks seen on VAG scrap

May look better if the black was continued down the sides of the thing.

yeah I did make up the whole spraying thing

so that's a vote for white, I am deffo swaying towards spraying it back white in the summer.

White would look about a million times better, as would standard rear lights.

I'm not against modifications, but I don't like ugly ones

Looks a bit like what I'd expect an Eastern Eurpoian police car from the 80's to look like. But ultimately it's your car...
