front seats look nice but the rear seat could do with a bit of fettling as its not sitting right in a few spots best to do it now before the leather beds in

He paid £1200,which also including repairing the bolster and changing the pattern on the front ,i think it is a good price tbh

Very good price! Where did he get it done, was that mates rates or standard price?

These came out of my touring and looked exactly like the ones you've posted up,
May be the pics making it look wierd,I looked at them today, and the bolsters are massive

The side mech covers, runners and handles are all E30 on the retrimed ones posted so i would say they are E30. Lower Bolster foams look very squashed though and early E30 recaro LS side bolsters were a different shape and very similar to E21 LS's.
There was a zoner with a retrimed set of LS's and he had one of each! Looked terrible.

They look like "sport" seats, not E30 "Recaros" to me.

That's must be it then rav, they may be a early set then,
Bss they are the original bolsters, and the better ones of the 2 pairs
We had,so these ones where used,I think they look great in the flesh, will upload some pics when there in the car

So they carried the E21 design over to the early E30.
Didn't know that.

Yes, the smaller bolster shape.
I guess Recaro revised the design of the LS in '85.
Capri 2.8i ones are very similar to the E21/early E30 ones and Escort RS turbo ones (which also came out in '85) are very similar to later E30 ones.

Dont really look it but they dont have extendable thigh bolsters.
