i have a couple of stubborn collar nuts that won't budge and i'm a bit dubious of adding heat with the pressurized inserts inside.
my plan is to cut through the damper piston 2" up then knock the stub back into the damper casing releasing the gas through the hole that will be created doing it.........will it work ?

I had to throw one of my strut legs away due to one of these stupid b4stards rusting itself in place. Good effort getting that off.
