Raymond Loewy - BMW Customiser

In case you hadn't noticed, according to Google, today is designer Raymond Loewy's birthday - here's a custom BMW he created:

Loewy was involved in the design of many cool things / turds. That one not one of them !

Yep deffo an off day for a great designer
Original 507 is - I think - the most beautiful car ever made
Sure is a pity there aren't more of them around.

Must have been a brave decision to build a special based on such a rare exotic in the first place - they only built 252, and were never cheap; it would have been a new car back then.

I was like, it's not that bad, no worse than an E type (which I don't really like), and then I saw the front. That was bad.

Pub Trivia, the man Goertz (sp) designed the bmw 507 but he is also credited with another famous classic.
Name the car!

The 507 roadster is the best looking 2 seater roadster out there imo
275 gts is a close second
