Sorry guys family problems and loss of work shop have forced a tomporary pause to proceedings but I have just secured a new workshop so will be starting again soon.
I have also been busy with my daily driver, it's a Mazda rx8 that I have put a Toyota 4l v8 in. If your interested I can start a small thread in the other cars section for you guys to have a look at? The Mazda forums are full of unhelpfull OEM sorts!

Given that most RX8 engines have a lifespan of about 60K before needing a rebuild it actually seems like a logical choice replacing it with something else.
There is a lad on one of the SAAB forums that has swapped in the 2.3T from an 9-5 Aero to an RX8 making circa 300 HP and way more torque than the old rotary lump.
