pas problem

ok so my car has started to make a really loud noise when i turn the steering wheel. i took the pas belt of and then turned the wheel and the noise was gone i take it this means my pump is broken?

Depends what the noise was. Belt was too loose/worn is the prime suspect.
Fluid level OK?

The wookie in my PAS system went away when I renewed the fluid and made sure the levels were good.

Fluid levels are a bit low so i will try draining it a puting new fluid in and the belt is a bit old but it wasn't sliping or lose I will change the fluid and report back

Also check if your PAS pipes are not pissing, as mine are, and I never seem to get the time to replace them

it a loud groaning and i think my pipe are leaking i will check them all out tomorrow
