I need new uprated front discs and pads for the cabby project.
Any recomendations on a good brand and on where to purchase them from?
TIA

I use Black Dimond discs on the front with braided hoses, ATE SuperBlue (or AP 550) fluid and Ferodo DS2500 pads...
Astounding for standard size and no fade on the track, either.
The pads come from Camskill, IIRC and the discs from MotorSportWorld

Are Pagid any good?

Yes, Pagid are good. The discs are great for not rusting and it's all OEM spec. Hell, they probably make the pads for BMW now.

Will they handle 300BHP?
CarPartsForLess have got front discs and pads for £75, Pagid make.
Seems like a good price?

I paid £96 for Pagid front discs and pads for my touring from ECP, so I'd say your £75 for M3 stuff is good.
As for will they handle 300bhp, I can't say. But they handle 170 OK.

I would probably recommend spending a few more pounds on yr brakes than that to handle 300 bhp.
i had 300mm discs, 4 pots and expensive hawk pads on my old track car which had 300 bhp from an s50 3 litre.
like tyres, brakes are hugely important so scrimping is not an option...

I don't want to scrimp, the better brakes the better regardless of cost. Don't want to press the brake pedal and nothing happens
What uprated kits are there for the M3?

That would more likely be the result of a failure of the hydraulic system.
Why does it matter how much power you have? Do you press the brake whilst accelerating? No! The brakes are solely dependent on your need to decelerate from a speed you regularly travel at. Unless you have ideas of doing constant track days, then Pagid discs and pads are more than adequate for your needs.
