Hottest wheels on an e30?

I want to get a real nice set of wheels for my touring for spring. But I'm not really finding anything I'm happy with. I'm looking for something either 16" or 17", and I would like to avoid the stretched tire look. I want something functional, that I can fit at least 225's on. so far this is what I've come up with;

I really want these bbs wheels I saw once. I believe they were called the RF style 5000's. I only saw them once on e30.de, and now the pic doesn't work.
keskin kt-1s in 17", but the width on those is 8.5" so I'm not sure if it will fit.
bbs rs, but i'd want them in 16x8 or so, and I've never seen that in 4 lug.
17" ACS type I's, but I've only seem them in 16" in e30 fitment.

so basically, give me some ideas of what you guys get over there. what you think is the best looking aftermarket 16" or 17" wheel on an e30. I would be willing to try and locate a set there and have them shipped, if it were what I wanted.

You havent mentioned how much dollar you have to play with. That will have a bog baring on your choice. Borbets are quiet cheap. Starr going into BBS teretory and you're looking big dollar :wink:

16inch alpinas the only choice! 16x7 front and 16x8 rear, can't beat them!

Hmm, funnily enough over here Borbets would set u back more than a set of BBS RS... but they both fetch a premium

the bbs rs is the daddy wheel, but fookin hard to find in 16" with 4 lug. i found a set earlier in the year which went for Ԛ£1400 without tyres, so expect to pay top money if you find some.

The Keskins will fit no probs. the only thing is with the 8.5 wide wheel the dish is not as deep as the 9. its only 0.5" difference in size but for some reason its about an inch on the dish. BAD ASS wheel tho. just need correct offset.

other wheels that look cool are Azev A's. bloody nice wheel and a classic,

Go for 16 or 17" alpinas if you are refined, or 17 or 18" 5 spoke wheels if your not lol. I personaly like khan rsr's but will be slated for saying it. :roll:

I will be saving for this all winter and not modifying my other car just so I can have the wheels I want.

So i will be willing to spend up to ~$2,000 American.

I'm not really into the borbets. a's are cool but not really what I'm looking for. and I already had a set of these borbets in 16x7.5 and 16x9 but didn't really like them and sold them (this is not my car just a pic of wheels, my touring is white)

Image

and please if you post a wheel you like posta pic, i'm curious
