Are there any collectors on here?

I think i may have inherited it from my old man, but im not good at losing cars

once a car is just how i want it i find it very difficult to get rid

I think the name of this disease is 'collecting'

is anyone else a sufferer and if so what is in the shed?

I don't exactly collect, I just struggle to get rid of anything :D

We bought a new shed last year to put the bikes and lawnmower in to clear space in the main shed so I could use it more like a workshop. Unfortunately more space means more room for 'stuff'

The current collection totals ten vehicles, two lock ups, a large shed and at least 12 sets of wheels.

Calibra
MX5
307 diseasel

Now I just have my E36 daily and E30, always on the lookout for something else though

Lol great thread my best was six, although when I took this picture it was 5 1/2......
Not to forget my Benly and FS1E in the shed.

Image

Under the car cover in the left of the picture is the other half of a renault :D

Oh, the 5 series wasn't mine.

Proper scrap, 5 1/2 cars with a giddy high value of about £25
:D
Though, the green Corsa I paid £30 quid for, MOT'd it and sold it for a smidge under £500 and paid for a weeks holiday rental in Cornwall :P

Then I called the scrap man when I was a bit skint after my son was born.....
Image
Image
Image

5 minutes later £360 better off
:D

I was sad to see E259JAB go though, I ran that for 5 years, paid £30 for it and well, it has some great memories.

One was the old mans OEM minter- he got scammed by an engine builder that nicked about £50K he was paid for work from various clients and vanished. the uno was left out the back of the warehouse in a field every pannel dented. started as this

dragged back from here:

My actual uno is fairly famous as far as fiats go , tuned by cann durrant with a collotti gearbox and lsd. hopefully accumulating cash aswell sitting in the garage!

Nigh on 200 Bhp in an 800kg car does shift!

Mine is the smallest it has ever been currently:

E30 M30 moredoor
E36 318 auto daily for the wife
Holden EH wagon 63
Plus a pool car from work, Mitsubishi Lancer.

I dont have a garage or a garden to park in. So it is only a two car car port and the road.

Next door neighbours love me.

I currently own two Morris Minors, one a 1965 2-door saloon with 2-litre Fiat Twin-cam, the other a 1970 Traveller with 1275cc MG Midget engine.

Hardly a collection really - I just use them on an alternating basis, and if one breaks, I have another to use. :)

Now, vintage digital watches, that's another thing - I have in excess of 20 of the things, with another winging it's way from E-bay!

I once owned up to four cars at a time, but got fed up with the constant maintenance and expenses.

I spend so much time trying to convince my friends and family that there are other weirdos like me out there! I'm doing well at the moment, I've cut down a lot!

Currently:

E30 325i
E36 sport touring
Mk2 jetta VR (soon to be 20vt :))
'62 Volvo 121 amazon estate

My garage consists of staggered 16" RS's, staggered 16" Mercedes rials, 16" OZ rally raids, staggered 17" style 5's, style 22 mk1 sunflowers, staggered 17" Bridgestone DTM aeros, OZ mk1 super T's, countless loose tyres, countless mk2 golf arches, slam panels, lights, wiring looms, an e36 touring interior, e30 comfort interior, Alfa 75 Milano recaro interior, various other morsels. Getting stuff out the freezer is a ball ache!

I fairly recent sold my sapphire cosworth and weighed my e32 735i :( so I have freed up a couple of spaces!

Haha nah the copens acctully my wifes, we searched high and low for for a minter as buying one new from diahatsu at the exchange rate would cost 22k hence why theyve stopped building them for the uk market, we picked it up froma club member 18 months old and kept it in a heated and carpeted garage, she loves it to bits but only uses it on sunny days... her dream car... easyly pleased

I'll try get some pics together! By the way the amazon is in an extremely sorry state right now!
