E30 Zone

i have recently bought a e30 cd from germany it appears to be pdf format of the original bmw workshop bulletins and covers about 50 after market fitments ie m tech 2 fitment including all the measurements where to drill/rivet etc it covers intensive wash wipe/heated seat/electric windows/mobile phone fitting/etc etc all the bits you need to know stage by stage and pic by pic it is in german with a english translation i wonder if we may suffer copyright issues as it is all bmw own bulletins and is not to be confused with the etk/epc ......any comments mods

i wouldn't mind a copy! do it on the snide, keep it low profile!

I like the idea but is there any mention of copy write on either the case of the data itself?

no its nicely printed on the cd e30 1981-1994 has bmw badge and says bmw einbauanleitungen cabrio/coupe/limousinetouring with pics of 4 diagrams on it give me an e-mail and ill send one of the files see what you think....no box with it no markers about copywright and i bougth it from a bloke in stuttgart

These are on ebay at I think Ԛ£18 a pop. Run a load off and punt them out to willing zoners like myself for Ԛ£3. In fact, include a copy of the ETK too and make it Ԛ£4

I'd like a copy too. Can't some one host it so we can all down load it? If we say all did Gazza a Ԛ£1 paypal payment then downloaded it it'd save on postage and CD's etc.

How big is it, as i have some "overlooked" space on a webserver i could use. ( i have a mate who runs an ISP, and my old dial-up account is, erm, lost)

unless there is a clear warning on the outside of the case or the last page of the file stating the goods are copy write protected then they an do nothing if you copy it thats the law if im not mistaken

kam-325i I don't understand this hosting thing, if Gazza sent you the files could you host them so we can all just click a link to download them?

the whole file is 330mb broken down into 100 adobe files the files are easy to send seperately the cd could well be a copy itself but if it is is very well done and presented give me a bit of time and ill sort something out.ill try and post a list of what is on the cd
