Wheel alignment on BMWs is performed with a load inside the vehicle biased to simulate someone in the driver's seat, so on any models with virtually everything adjustable this might well be the case.
On an E30 though, very little is adjustable, things like spring pads, springs, bushes, etc. aren't handed, and things that are, such as trailing arms or control arms, aren't different for LH drive and RH drive markets AFAIK, so I would say the answer is no.

you have a snapped spring or one of your rear beam bushes is f00ked more than the other side if it's dropped on the rear.
i had this problem with a blue 2dr i used to own and it was rear beam bush related

Springs are fine & fairly new genuine bmw mtech ones. Rear bushes have just been done. Its just about 5-10mm higher on passenger side (Its RHD) All the suspension bits in the car have been replaced in the last year or 2. Dunno what could be causing it so was just wondering if they are supposed to be like that.

i had this and it ended up being a bent rear trailing arm, i replaced every bush on the rear and added coilovers so knew it wasnt that...... just a thought.
