Does anyone know if they did cloth Sports Seats either 318is tartan style or any other in beige? I've only ever seen them in grey ( is style ) or anthricite etc in velor?
Only ask because i have a super clean cromie with beige carpets / panels etc that are totally unmarked and I'd rather keep it beige than change and i don't really want leather in this one.
Cheers

they do,
there's a particularly rough example in this link, looks like half leather houndstooth cream material.

The bolsters of that one in the link are not original.
You want 00214 Pearl Beige Cloth for your car but it's not easy to find.
All the seat materials are listed here -

Thanks guys. From what you're saying it will be beige leather as the cloth ones look very hard to find and as we all know hard to find = Hard to fund ..

personally mate i wouldn't say pearl/beige clothe seats would be overly expensive i think they are rare because they arnt to most peoples taste?! could be wrong on that though bud.
there was a OEM blue interior in leather on the bay for ever and a day wasnt expensive either about £250 from memory

I have not seen an EXCELLENT UNDAMAGED beige sport trim for many years. They are thankfully very rare and mostly scrap .

My seats aren't sport, just the regular comfort seats but they are beige cloth.
Strange though, they have leather patch which is just on the bottom of the seat, not the sides or the backrest at all.

Oh yeah sorry the whole point of my last post was that I hate the sight of the beige. Would love to change it to anything dark.

I've recently bought a complete beige iS check interior with the intention of fitting it to my E21, which on reflection will look pretty naff. It's largely undamaged apart from the drivers thigh and torso bolsters (I think the cloth may be the same as comfort fabric). The bases and mechs are sound, little or no play! I'm tempted to keep them as spares for my sport leathers but could be persuaded to sell them so I can fund something more suitable for the E21.
I'll forward you some photos tomorrow if you're interested?
Edit: The vinyl backs have had some bashing in their time.

I had one :
Was not cheap though - put up a wanted ad and see what pops up but you will probably need to wait a while and expect to pay whatever the seller wants.

I've got biege cloth Sports seats in my Touring, from an M535i,good condition too, maybe I should put them on Ebay for a million pounds
You could try looking for E28 seats as I did, just a simple case of swapping the runners over to the E30 so they fit,the seats themselves are exactly the same as E30. Oh and I only paid £90 for them

I suspect that it's for a 2 door so E28 seats aren't going to be suitable.
Ianb I'll be in the garage today so I'll get some photos up.

As discussed, some photos. The seats are in pretty good condition other than the areas of wear shown, could do with a professional clean however:
Damage to the bolsters is not too bad, foam would need replacing along with some new cloth
Recline, tilt and knee roll operate with ease
Rear bench, marks are just some light dirt
Worst of the damage to the seat backs, notice the slice on the lower side of the pass

Thanks for the pics mate but I'm afraid they're not for me, they would be too expensive to repair and there's the trouble getting the cloth to match, it's certainly not "Comfort" cloth.

loving all this retro beigeness
to be fair mate they wouldnt be that expensive, two replacement bolsters cost me £75 with me supplying fabric, fabrics the hard part to match as you say, but its only a beige cloth couldn't be that hard?!

No problem Ianb, I was only interested in off-loading them for someone to make use of them, I'll hang on to them for spares.
