Looks like they've still got Kumho KU31s as well, a good tyre.

4 tyres fully fitted for £215 quid. Not sure what they are like but

4 x Khumos for £274?

or

4 x Toyo Proxies are only £284.

I went for 205/50/15's on mine.

Managed to get 4x Michelin PE2's for £80. All with over 4mm tread on and in my experience, PE2's are just about the best all round tyre there is.

Glad you posted this Trev- was looking for a way to highlight these tyres.

I've been bitten before buying cheap tyres, and after the MOT the touring needed a new set of 205/55/15.

My local guy suggested these, and despite my concerns he said to try them. Fitted was about £200 for the full set.

I cant praise them enough. Lower noise than the avons that were on before, the car just covered 1200 miles in the last three weeks, in the snow/ice/slush and rain and never missed a step.

Seriously, for a budget set of tyres, I am converted and wont buy a branded tyre for the E30 again.

The Accellera brand also stood up well in recent reviews, cant remember where but I will see if I can find it.

tell ya what- i had a spare set of wheels with my range rover with a set of virtualy brand new accelera on, and pirelli scorpions on the car, they lasted me over a year, but £180 a corner, the accelera are £80 a corner, i put them on, and they feel no different, were decent in the snow no issues, icey slush no issues, heavy rain no issues, good tyres !

bridgestone potenzas in that size are well worth £340 for four they are far superior to the mediocre toys and falkens most people on here go for.

I had near new on the front of my E34 touring and they have worn down to 2mm in around 8 months, 5000 miles max, shite in the wet too!

tbh i wouldnt concider them for an e30, but on a diesel range rover they are ok concidering £400 cheaper than a set of pirelli, nice deep tred aswell
