well i have just been offered a 750il 1988 auto, and was maybe thinking of doing this conversion but any suggestions, or help ? looks like its been done a few times.. so ye let me know what you think...

Can't find that thread now, remember the one....about fitting a space shuttle engine in a e30. . Still makes me laugh now

A manual gearbox is the best part of a grand on its own. IF you can find one!

really ?? sod that my friends willing to give me £250 for the car so thought i would check to see if there was any cnversions done and whats involved..

If you have a search alot of kitcars have used the bmw V12, and people do make conversion plates for boxes.

M60 is a great conversion, if you can find a manual car to start with your laughing.

A friend of mine used a m20 manual box with an adapter plate. Worked well.
But that was the easy bit...
