E30 Zone

Hi there Zoners..

I have been on for a short while now. I must i have had some great help and advice given by some of the e30 gurus for which i am thankful for.

Having read up on the recent thread about more e30 meets need to take place.

I for one strictly agree. A few good pointers have been mentioned in that thread so i thought id just do a little research before starting anything.

Firstly how many of us are there in the East end and south east of london?

&

secondly who here would be interested in meeting up and having a good few hours around our much loved e30's?

Everybody is invited. i only ask for the east side of london as i live there and also to kick start a e30 meet in and around the areas.

I spent a lot of time around Hackney up until about a month ago when I moved out of London back to the motherland of Hertfordshire. Still have a fair few friends and the odd bit of work over that way.

I'd be up for taking a drive over to east london of an evening...

I am in islington. and would be up for a meet. But my work is alittle crazy and would must likely have to pull out last minute.

But i would be keen on trying to meet.

Sadly I'm in a similar situation..

I am based in Hackney and wouldn't mind meeting up in and around the area.

Currently needing a MOT once that is done maybe ill tax and insure her.

South east London isnt a million miles from me.

right guys it cant be mental maths but lets pick a day suited to us all.

sure there must be more or maybe i just see many driving around that do not know about the zone.

is anybody here going to Santa Pod for the BMW show day?

Fancy meeting up some place convenient for us all, really looking forward to this as i plan to make it on the day i think its on the 15th sep.

I'm in Sidcup ( South London ) but all 3 e30's are off the road at the mo

the Zones 1st ever meet was at lakeside, we started to have an east side meet years ago at lakeside McDonalds which was good as easy to get to and the Essex people would attend as well but after about 5 years died off, we still have ace café 1st Monday of each month which is hit and miss of E30s

Guys it would be great to start somethign back up again. We have a fair few places in east we all can meet once a month.

East London as a whole has developed a fair bit ove the past 5 -8 years with the Olympics and new builds in and around Stratford.

Is anybody from ourside of the woods going to Santa Pod on the 15th Sep next month, if so maybe we could all arrange o meet up some place away from gun shots and robbers and take a cruise all together to Santa Pod.

Anybody up for this?

Ho wabout the Prept German Car meet at Brands Hatch last wednesday of every month ?

I have never been however i read much about it seems as if all makes have their pride and joy showing off their and taking a run up the strech.

Everybody here invloved needs to be comfortable with a location we all can eaisly enough get to... thoughts?

Not too far away from me, I've yet to meet another Zoner, might have a serious think about coming to one of these meets. Little bit scared of people noticing my strangeness though.

To those who are from Southend, I know there are a lot of (E30 unrelated) car meets regularly down there, where abouts in Southend do they usually take place?

I know this is an old thread but I would be up for a meet and possibly one or 2 of my mates who both have e30s. I am based in east London as well as my mates. Anyone up for it?

Also I have set up an e30 page on Instagram specially for London based e30s. Feel free to follow London or not! e30_london

I am not sure if this had gone forward as I was unable to make it. Having just come back from Stratford I must say that the nice tall new builds and the environment itself has improved for the better. A pleasant drive to Westfields with the wife to break my bank and only just got back to Romford.

I would strongly recommend we all should meet in Stratford some place.

What are your thoughts?
