I Would leave the battery connected (so you don't flatten the SI batteries and start them leaking) but hooked up to a trickle charger/conditioner.
Put the car up on axle stands if you like, if your tyres stay pumped up I don't think it matters a huge amount - but don't leave the wheels dangling.
If you have a good quality car cover, use it by all means to keep dust off - but make sure you're not trapping moisture against the car. I'd leave the car a few days to dry out before covering it.

Of course, you'll be giving it a good wax a polish before storage - including getting any road salt off the underside ;)

Enjoy!

Brim all fluids in the car, fuel, screen wash, coolant etc, leaves less room for condensation to build up.

All these things I didn't do before garaging my is last August. How long does it take for the SI batteries to drain and leak? I disconnected the battery.

Not too familiar as to what the SI batteries are, I read bits in previous posts but not really grasped much. Had a quick look on wiki and the Bentley manual and could fine anything...

Ah yes, they're behind the dials display cluster? So shouldn't have an effect on it starting? I look them up now I know what SI stands for..
