Hi, does anybody know of a good place to have a set of blue leather E30 seats reconnolised/refurbished? Preferably in the Kent area. Also does anybody have a rough idea of the cost? Thanks

I looked into this about a year ago and remember it being very expensive compared to doing it myself.

I bought everything I needed from liquidleather.com and a small compressor. If you do it yourself and follow the instructions 100% your seats will look brand new. Just one thing I would suggest is put a few thin coats on rather than be tempted with thicker coats to save time. Set aside the week end to do a proper job i.e give the seats a proper clean and feed on Saturday morning and colour them on Sunday morning, fit them Sunday afternoon / evening.

Let me know if you need any other info. :D

The compressor was a mini hobby one, did the job but honestly I would rather rent a bigger one for the day from HSS Hire or similar as it would be much quicker.

The first coat I diluted 1:1 the second coat was about 3 parts scuff master to 1 part water.

Hope that helps.
