Happy Newbie!

Hello all.
I picked up an old 302i (89) auto convertible for peanuts.
I was terrified I'd made a huge mistake.
It had an oil leak, a leaky roof, and was sluggish like a turtle.
I just had the sump gasket replaced (the source of leak), the fuel filter put back on the "right way round'!!, new water pump, new timing belt, new crankshaft seals (the suspected source of oil leak), new oil (10/40), oil filter.
Auto glym on the roof ( a wash and reproof)
And guesswhat?
..she runs like an absolute dream. Pulls better, purrs like a kitten,
the roof is yet to be tested but it will rain later so fingers crossed.
*Very proud*
Looking forward to spring. I just want to nurse her through the winter.
Love this car.
Hans.
