E30 around the whole of the uk !!

wonder if this would be possible or if any sort of world record could be attempted/made/created or linked to charity somehow
something going round the whole of the uk in e30s only !!!! , there must be some sort of record for something ,traveling the longest distance/journey in a single make/model of car !!!
God knows what the item could be, a person would be cool, but the logicsics of it would be a nightmare,with getting stuck, sleeping,time off work,,etc etc
so...an item, accompanied by a digital camera and a blank journal diary, and a thread on the e30 zone !! ....sets off from whereever it starts, to be handed over to someone else somewhere in an e30, each driver records in the diary where its picked up and what model E30, and dropped off, total miles covered and takes a pic somewhere with the item and e30, ideally in a nice location,and a paragraph diary entry of its trip
and it travels around the whole country , ideally in 1 direction right around the whole country, people could tie their leg in with work, a visit somewhere or picking up a part etc etc or any reason
and we basicly see how far the item can travel ,england,scotland,wales,ireland and every county and major city and site seeing attrction or famous place, bit like the olympic torch relay !!
people can state where they are and where they could take it, etc etc, so everyone could join in no matter how short or long their leg of the journey weather it be 20 or 200 miles
also no set time limit or anything, so when you pick it up from someone, you simply keep it and arrnge with the next person/people when where to hand it over or wait until something pops up but ideally keep it moving if possible
think that could be done or any sort of world record in it and how many thousands of miles something could travel in the bmw e30 !
and it need not have to stop !!!!

Good idea... Skip & I were gonna start something similair a while back... Some sort of item, pass around to different members and pictures taken in different places with it, if you go on holiday, it gets sent to you and you take it off with you... You then get pictures of you and it next to the pyramids or something... Then it gets sent to the next person in the que, even if your not off anywhere exotic, a picture of you with it down the pub is good enough...
