E30 Zone

Folks,

I've started a new wiki page. The idea is to have as many dyno graphs as possible so people can easily find information showing gains and losses from different mods/engines etc etc. Even if yours is just a standard engine it'd still be great to have!

Anyone that's got a graph from a run they've done, can you post it on here with as much detail as possible.

Much appreciated.

the lower powered graph was my 240bhp 2.5 litre m10, custon accratlie pistons in a 2.5 s14 bottom end, m10 121 head 12.1CR schrick 336 cam, 50mm jenvey throttle bodies.

upper powered graph is a 2.6 litre 275bhp s14, 95.34mm wosner pistons 11.5:1, 91mm stroke steel crank, ported head, schrick 292/284 cams

2.4litre s14 turbo, 2.3 215bhp top end, custom pistons, t38 turbo, huge intercooler and not much boost!

spikes in graph low down was a gearchange.

We need as much information on spec as possible otherwise it's too vague add to the Wiki as people won't know exactly what they're looking at.

it's an evolve 18 bhp chip with k&n panel filter the rest is standard.

The graph is plotted with ftlb measuring the torque. So if the figure is 175ftlb that is 237nm

No, torque is lbft and went from 170 or there abouts to over 190.

BHP went from 171 to 185.

I have a dodgy looking print out but the figure is reliable.

Engine is Alpina B10, basically a tuned M30.
Spec is...

Mahle pistons
M5 rods
Flowed head with Hemi chambers
Larger valves
268 cam
Remapped ECU

257hp @ 5450rpm 285 lb/ft @ 4200rpm

I think you'll find the before was the stock 171 bhp (the red line underneath), and after, 185.5/7bhp.
