E30 Zone

hey guys just got my second e30 after a 5 year gap and dunno why i left cant belive how much i love it but now im in need off a bit more power as the 320 i have is a bit slow off the mark. i know its not the one to get but the body was worth the sacrifice for the price. what sort off mods can be done with this m20 engine? not looking for turbo or engine swap atm as moneys tight so any mods involving parts from other modles/engines for that little extra power ? thanks guys

2.5 intake and throttle body would be the first thing on my list to wake the 2lt up. Hth

40 more bhp, same mpg, can be picked up for £250.

As maggs says. Modding a 320 is a massive waste of money - huge costs for minimal gains.

If you want to perk it up then give it a full service, set the valves properly, buy a new distributor cap and send the injectors off for a rebuild with Injectortune (a trader on here). For 100 quid you'll get the engine back to near-factory condition.

may just run it as it is then plan on a v8 conversion at some point so may just run it as is will be fun as people get used to it as a 2ltr than after the swap around jan time will have to see the look on there face lol

Drop an M30B35 anchor in there, Go read up in the M30 section.

If you're after a cheap and easy mod, a chip can make quite a difference. I can supply either a Mild or Wild for the 1988-on Motronic 320i.

Chip would be good, should take that m20b20 all the way to 129 bhp. Will tear your arms off.!
