Yeah I do it... :o:

E30's used to be a very common sight on the road. Notso nowadays. I'm always chuffed to see another...

..not E30, but saw a white 246 Dino and an Austin Cambridge exchange a bib yesterday, seems like any car over 25 years is worth a bib these days :)

Why would you get on a bus if you had an E30 to drive?

Because you let someone bodge a ponced up ford pinto into it and its broke?

Anything over 25 years and in good condition deserves a thumbs up IMO 8)

I was waved at by a driver of a silver sport in Lowestoft over the weekend, only polite to wave back.

to commute into work? its more reliable? its less rusty and polluting? its less embarrasing than driving a 20 year old basic entry level car whilst smugly thinking your driving a classic?
need i go on? :D

well at least my entry level iS has a driving god behind the wheel. any e30 I see locally, I have to flash 1/2 a mile away, otherwise they don't react in time..

Wherever possible :)

Occasionally you find a lay person/non enthusiast in an E30 who has probably had it for the last 20 years and doesn't care. You'll be flashing/waving away and they'll look back at you as though you have some kind of learning difficulty.

Ah, fond memories of the Riley 4/72 jack / sill / door debacle :chuckle:

I had a similar debacle when I jacked up my first E30! :o:

The E30 jack seems to be artfully designed to press itself into the door panel as you jack up the car, leaving a dent. :?

The jack shaped dent in the door was the least of the Riley owners problems ! :)

I wave. My first car and it's nice to think you're part of something. Most E30 drivers probably don't care but wave back to be polite.

I wave at A60, Oxford, 4/72 and Magnette pilots. Wolseley 16/60 pilots can get fucked though - wood trim but a single SU? All fur coat and no knickers imo.

I've flashed and waves whilst driving a Clio, and a E46. Without thinking, I spot an E30 and flash :o:
