Guys opinions on this, do you think if it was running smaller wheels with a dish it would work?

there's a reason there is only one of these
there's a reason it's still for sale after about 2 years of trying
at least it puts off others from trying

all thje ones i've seen look horrible.
the e30 does have a big glas house though, i bet they'd look great with a very subtle chop, say 10-20mm, but it would be a massive amount of work for something most wouldnt notice and i wont be trying it out on my car

its been about a lot longer than 2 years, iirc it was for sale when i was looking for my first over 5 years ago.
Chopped e30s just don't work, it screws with the angles and the perspective.

Best way to make it look less "glass-house" is a set of rear headrests and a parcel shelf sun blind
kangman, that is sik design skillzzz

Its stupid and unnecessary, its like say lets cut the boot off and make it shorter or turn it into a hatch back, NO. It wasn't supposed to be like that and doesn't look good at all.!

I saw this ages ago and wondered if removing the body kit ( fibregash ?) and fitting a good drivetrain / wheels etc might turn it into something

but there was much chat on here regarding the poor standard of the chop ie alignment / welding etc so i didn't give it another thought. Even if i had been interested it's a few hundred quids worth as a punt that could be weighed in if it went wrong. Fair to say it's been for sale for as long as i can remember so god knows what state it's in now

deffo my fave e30 out there, been around SW for ages, i prefered it when it had the fk 75/50 spring kit on it though, not keen on it being bagged, and i dont like the roof chop. roof chops are for low riders and hot rods IMO, not e30s

looks like its been photoshopped to me u can see a line from the top of the gutterline at the back all the way to the front of the car plus the back window doesnt look right as the bottom part is open the top part looks closed ......plus look at the building even the galvanised sides are not sitting in line ........

No matter how it's been done the car will be almost uninsurable if the mod is declared, and also should be SVA'd as the bodyshell has been substantially modified. And it looks shite.....Weigh it in!
