E30 Zone

As i was driving to the gym (about 3miles)this morning out of my rear view mirror i spotted a BMW police car!!, so drove properly so there would reason to pull me over......after about 2 miles he was still following me!!!,and pull in behind me in the gym carpark..........
the policeman got out and said to me that he saw my car and said that he really likes it if i ever want to sell to contact him!!!!!!!........

yes its happened to me with the traffic police but with my cosworth powered celica, not my e30.

Happened to me when I was driving my cousin's e46 couple of days after it came out the paint shop (had a color change to pearl white with xirallic blue tint, the officer wanted to know where I got the paint work done so I just gave him my brothers card.

Yeah only ever been stopped by coppers to try and give you a 60 quid on the spot in cash fine... Liverpool coppers are corrupt chavs!

I did once get pulled by an E39 540i patrol car in Glasgow - it was on the run up to Christmas and they were doing the usual drink driving purge (it was late at night). I was in my first ever car, a hateful 1983 Volvo 360 in pale green with ginger velour interior.

They asked why I didn't pull over straight away when they put the blue lights on and I told them as I had only just got in the car, the rear screen hadn't unfrozen yet and I hadn't seen them. The copper said 'we thought you were trying to outrun us', and I said well you're in a 286 bhp 4.4 litre V8 BMW, and I'm in a 15 year old shed - the only way I could outrun you was if I got out and ran off! They laughed and let me go home. Just as well I was stone cold sober!

I went through a spate of getting pulled over when I fitted the s50 (can't think why). when they realise I'm a 30 year old petrol head and not a rude chavvy boy racer they are normally pretty decent.

13 years of driving and the only speeding points are an sp30 in a crappy diesel fiesta company car!

I got pulled over by copper for speeding 10 years ago (when I was a polite chavvy boy racer) in my old corrado G60, i might of been a fraction over the speed limit.
Lucky me the coppers were also young and spent 20 minutes looking and asking me about the car and all the mods and 1 minutes asking me how fast i was going and then spent another 5 minutes asking me about the performance.

thought I was gonna get shafted as i was doubling the limit!!! down a country lane

they take one look at my slug balancer and decide its best not to bother.

I got pulled on the M11 for outrunning an unmarked V6 Cavalier in a 2002 Turbo. 130- when the lights came on.
Got a stern warning and that was it.
