rear view mirror help

any one know what toy use to stick the mirror back is there any special glue needed or will the windscreen guys fix it on

do bmw sell a double sided sticky pad for this ?

Windscreen fitters tried to superglue my cabbie mirror to the pattern 'screen that they fitted....it lasted less than a week,and the car did not move in that time.

They had to come back with the proper cabbie screen that has a mirror mount attached at the factory.

Glass / Metal glue from Halfords did the trick for mine. Just hold it in place for as long as possible, use tape if necessary.

There is a proper kit available for the job, It has a gauze and some glue and it works every time!!

as above, i had the same issue when i replaced the windscreen in my cabby, i used this from halfords...works a treats

all done cheers guys on solid want move or fall off now was using double sided tape befor an it wobbled about
