Hi All,

Just a quick hello to you all. My location is the York area.

I've just sold my kit car (I've built 4) and wanted a saloon, so I bought a 325se for track day use.

I have a limited budget, so whatever I spend on the car it needs to be in the right place. Can you help? I need to know what spec, price and supplier if possible. Dont want much do I.

My thoughts on what to tackle first:
1 Brakes, mine are poor. Green Stuf pads?
2 Dampers and springs. Bilstein Sprintline -40mm?
3 Cage. No idear at all.
4 LSD. Where? how much?
5 Quick Rack.
6 Seats and Harnesses

The car will be used on the road, mainly to and from the track.

Thanks in advance, Andy

Hi mate, What are you looking at spending? If it was me id definately go for a cage, seats and harnesses (safety 1st :) ) Look at demon tweeks for a full list. I use cobra seats and sparco harnesses as they are good value and light weight.

Brakes and suspension - Dont skimp on the suspension, brakes can wait if required. Go for a bilstein damper set with eibach springs for the best handling. A big brake kit can be expensive, so a new set of pads should be ok for a while, or you could always add some braided hoses? Green/red stuff pads are not great for track use, some ferrodo pads or some AP racing formula pads should do the trick.

Dont forget, ebay alwys has stuff like this, so if your on a budget, its always worth a look!

Hope this helps buddy!
