New(ish) purchase - 325i Cab, time for respray

Hi Guys,
I recently purchased a 1 owner 1990, 325i cab. Its in pretty good condition and has covered 107,000 miles.
The time has come to get rid of the minor rust and restore this to its former glory. Can anyone give me a tried and tested bodyshop recommendation ? I'm looking to give it a full respray.
I'm in Surrey, but would be willing to drive anywhere in the country to get the work done properly for the right price.
Many thanks.

send him a pm on the last page of this thread you can see talk of him and the work he does
impeccable work and well worth the travelling for and its not too far to go, hes a nice guy who knows his e30s too and i try keep my eyes open for hm, i recomended him to jimbo and he went to see himl, got his cabby done, and is delighted
my car is going in there in 2 weeks ,had to wait a while as hes busy and got people queing up, but worth the wait to get a job thats that cut above

Hi Polsta,
Great, thanks for the recommendation. I'll give John a call and get the car down there for an estimate.
If anyone else has had a good experience with a bodyshop, please let me know as I'm looking to get 3-4 quotes.
Cheers....

I have a mate of mine who runs his own paid shop in Bolton, he is first class and has been a painter for 30 plus years, he made an awesome job of my cabby which required a full bare metal re-spray.
Likes cash and was miles cheaper that all the bodyshops i visted.
I went to see him last week about my Merc (full re-spray on the cards) and he was painting a 1985 7 series....looked amazing.
PM me if you want his details.
cheers
Gary
