Hello all. Found this site from seeing a sticker on a car whice caught my eye. I now have the urge to own my own e30. I will probably be looking to get a 316 due to insurance. Like black or red for the colour but DO NOT want anything girly. My hunt will continue watch this space.

you should be spoiled for choice - this is on autotrader; ok it is white but...
1989 BMW 3 SERIES 316i 2dr Saloon,
123,000 miles, BMW 316I 1.6 Injection 5 Month MOT & 5 Months Tax CD player/radio,Power Assisted Steering, Electic Windows, Central Locking. Immaculate and no rust, Drives Superb! No Canvassers!. Ԛ£640. ONO.
no assoc with seller btw
if your insurance could stretch to a late 318i, it would be much more capable

Still serching would love a convertible but once again do not want to run the risk of high insurance.

it depends on your age.....but a convertiable really bumos up the insurance premiums, especially if your younger.

Welcome, hope you find what your looking for - there's a few 1.6/1.8's in the for sale section, not sure if their still available for sale but, if you don't ask-you don't get (my philosophy in life)
Hope you enjoy the Zone.
Neil.

Im sure you'll end up meeting a few ppl off here anyway.. drives/track days etc. They are very helpful, and patient. A few serious tech heads ( no Offence) on here too!Any questions, usually answered within 2 days.. unless it's pants!
(and what's the deal with everyone calling their pants, trousers, and reg grundies ( Undies/underwear), pants??)
