£260? i didnt realise prices had went up so much recently. a couple of years ago it used to float around the £120-£150 for an average car.

Your "mate" did alot better though!

What is scrap worth, per ton, in TOWIE ATM? That's a Ream payout at the scales!

We just had a big clearout in our yard at work, 3 complete Jag XF's and 2 Toyota urban cruisers bagged £1200, we also cleared various other scrap and filled a 40 yard skip, that paid out £1047.

oh sh*t!
i got nothing for my rover 400 a couple of years ago!! he just signed my papers and took the car! i had accidently filled it with petrol instead of diesel and wasnt worth me paying to get it flushed! (only paid £200 for it and stripped the seats out and used it as a skip on wheels when i was doing my house up)
ill make sure i get something when i send my 318 off next month!

i remember a few years back when you had to pay about £30 for a scrappy to take a car.
i dont think the real weight/size of a car makes much difference, ive scrapped several various cars/small vans and coincidentally every ones weighed exactly 1150kg on the scales.
